On 17th September 2017, Dana Al Fardan, Qatar’s preeminent composer and CEO and founder of Qatar’s only record label, DNA Records, will bring her classical repertoire to the iconic Theatre Royal Haymarket in central London. The concert programme, orchestrated and arranged by renowned London-based conductor, arranger and composer, Dave Arch, will be performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra (LMO), conducted by Musical Director, Andy Brown, in a rare showcase of the Qatari composer’s interpretation of world music to an international audience.

Dana Al Fardan, composer, songwriter, and symphonic artist, is already garnering international attention, enhanced by her most recent album release, Sandstorm. The work blends sumptuous strings, choral vocals and soloists with traditional Middle Eastern rhythms. The album was recorded at Katara Studios in Doha. As Qatar Airways’ official composer, her music entertaining international passengers on boarding, Dana is flying the flag as the first composer and performer to bring the music of her small Gulf nation to the rest of the world. Already a figure of considerable notoriety in the Gulf region, and following the success of the performance of selected pieces from Sandstorm at Cadogan Hall last year, next month’s concert will be the first time the complete album has been performed outside Qatar.

The LMO is an ensemble of world-class musicians that has been engaged by all the major Hollywood studios and worldwide record labels for over 20 years. On 17th September, the curtain will rise on the orchestra performing a full programme of a unique interpretation of contemporary classical music for the first time to an international audience for one night only.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Former Breitbart chief Steve Bannon has reportedly been ousted from the Trump administration, sources including the New York Times and others report today. Liberals, who claim Bannon is a racist, were celebrating–but not much, saying Bannon will still wield his white nationalist political influence now with his job back at Breitbart. According to Breitbart itself today, Bannon reportedly refers to the online publication as his 'killing machine,' and he is–according to the site, preparing for war against Trump's enemies, including the Deep State. Country star Michael Shawn Hartman warns Trump to stand strong, and "Keep standing up against the fake news media."

As any President, Trump has no shortage of enemies. Even Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump had had a notoriously long standing feud in the media, that has never let up. With Trump famously calling Rosie O'Donnell a "fat pig," mainstream media jumped on the remarks during the Presidential campaign, which were also brought up by then Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. The feud was quiet for a while, until now.

It started earlier this week, when country stars Tim McGraw, Michael Shawn Hartman, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, and other country music stars reportedly made statements strongly against the racist violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, that happened Saturday, August 12th, Hollywood Sentinel reports. Two police officers reportedly died attempting to assist in stopping the protest-turned-riot by helicopter, while one woman died on ground–struck by a speeding car that reportedly plowed in to another parked car that people were standing near. Reportedly 19 others were injured. Members of the rally which reportedly began as a protest to remove a statue of U.S. General Robert E. Lee, included the KKK, Nazis, and white nationalists, as well as counter-protesters.

Soon after, many mainstream media attacked Trump for not referring to and condemning the Nazis, KKK, and white nationalists specifically. Trump later gave a speech condemning them, stating he delayed as he had to get all of the facts known. But Trump also condemned some of who he called 'the alt left,' of whom he stated, some were bad people, carrying clubs and inciting violence, with no permit to protest. During this speech in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York, Trump repeatedly attacked the media, calling them 'fake news' who didn't care about the facts. At these remarks condemning the so called 'alt left' in addition to some on the so called 'alt right,' many media again attacked Trump, arguing he was not strongly enough condemning Nazis, racists, white nationalists, and the KKK, and essentially defending them, while the media arguably claimed, he was condemning counter-protesters who–many media argued, were simply protesting Nazi's and racists–the very thing America should stand against.

Mainstream media further hit back, stating that Trump was defending Nazis, white nationalists, racists, and KKK members. Trump hater Rosie O'Donnell took it a step further, reportedly tweeting this week that "if u stand next 2 and work with adolf trump – yes u f-ing are a nazi."

Country singer Michael Shawn Hartman came to a quick defense of the President, stating, "I know in my heart that President Trump is not a Nazi, and neither is anyone just because they want to have good working relations with our President. For a celebrity who is an opinion leader to say such harsh words and a lie about our President, is frankly, irresponsible, and foolish, and an insult to Americans as well as to the Jews and all other victim of actual Nazi's. Rosie O'Donnell should be ashamed of herself, and grow up. And I hope now that Mr. Bannon has more freedom, he can better serve and protect our President."

While other classmates were busy collecting spiders and baseball cards, a young Michael Shawn was busy jamming. The Singer Songwriter, and Musician, who Hollywood Sentinel hails as "The next Johnny Cash," began playing guitar at the young age of 9 years old. NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., UNITED STATES, August 18, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – A complete set of 66 original Polaroid photos of Madonna, taken in 1983 by the noted portrait photographer Richard Corman (Am., b. 1954), just six weeks before the release of the young singer’s debut album and eventual skyrocket to fame, is for sale through Manhattan Rare Books, located inside Gallery 90 in New York City, at 1050 Second Avenue.

The sale price of the set is $350,000. “We are offering these unique Polaroids of Madonna until September 5th,” said Michael DiRuggiero owner of Manhattan Rare Books. “After that, if there is no buyer, the set will be dispersed and the images offered individually.” The photos are featured in Corman’s limited-edition fine art book Madonna 66, which was released in November 2016.

Harper’s Bazaar said of the book, “Corman’s Polaroids prove with utter certainty that Madonna was destined for icon status.” Mr. DiRuggiero added, “This is a unique opportunity for a serious collector to own a complete collection, documenting an important moment in art and cultural history, one that will be available only as a complete and intact collection until September 5th.”

The sale price includes all 66 original Polaroids, each one signed and numbered by Corman (1-66), housed in a custom case by the noted book artist Sjoerd Hofstra, plus a copy of Madonna 66. The book was widely praised by The New York Times, New York Magazine, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and other newspapers and magazines. Corman signed the copy being sold.

In the photos, Madonna (full name, Madonna Ciccone) is dressed in full Material Girl regalia, a look that launched a fashion revolution among young women of the time: white lace leggings under torn jeans, jean jacket with graffiti on the back and the sleeves cut off, and rubber bangles (or friendship bracelets). She sports bright red lipstick and a fake mole on the side of her face.

The 66 images were taken as test shots for a movie that Corman’s mother, a casting director, was screen-testing actors for but never got made. She saw in the budding star potential, and she urged her son to photograph her. “I knew this was somebody special right away,” Corman said of their first meeting, which took place in Madonna’s apartment on East 4th Street in Greenwich Village.

He remembered, “She was funny in the most beguiling way. As soon as I walked up, she served me espresso and bubblegum on a silver plate and tray.” Over a period of months and for several sittings, Corman photographed his subject, usually at Madonna’s brother’s house in Manhattan. The end result is the trove of 66 Polaroids Corman used for his book and which is now for sale.

Corman had previously worked for legendary photographer Richard Avedon (Am., 1923-2004), but observed that even with all of his experience around the celebrities who would parade in and out of Avedon’s studio, the Madonna spark was special. “When you look at somebody through a camera you either see behind somebody’s eyes or you don’t,” he said. “With her it was, ‘wow’.”

Corman said there is a looseness to the Madonna Polaroids that would be difficult to orchestrate today. “Now, we’d have 20 bodyguards and 30 assistants,” he said. “They’d have to cordon off the street. Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj – people like that, who I’d love to spend time with – it would be a much different experience nowadays. But Madonna was accessible. And it was raw.”

Also for sale through Manhattan Rare Books is a set of three silver gelatin prints of photographs Corman took of the late boxing legend Muhammad Ali. It is the only set in which all three of the 11 inch by 14 inch prints is signed by Ali, in silver marker on the front of the image. Each image is also signed by Corman on the verso and marked (“1 of 1”). The set is priced to sell at $22,500.

Two autobiography books about the life Richard Avedon, Richard Corman’s mentor, are also for sale. One is a signed limited first edition copy (#44 of only 250 copies signed by Avedon), with a special engraver’s proof of his iconic image of the late Marilyn Monroe laid-in. The book, which is lavishly illustrated with 285 of Avedon’s most celebrated photographs, is for sale at $4,900.

The other book, titled Richard Avedon, An Autobiography, with: Evidence, 1944-1994, is a special limited edition boxed set, with two original hand-stamped engraver’s proofs. Although the limitation states 250 copies, only about 100 were actually produced. Signed and numbered in the box by Avedon, and chronicling his career over a 50-year span, the book is for sale at $6,500.

The film premieres August 27, 2017 at the Regal Cinemas Premier House at LA Live at which time festival winners will be announced.

Nominations were chosen by a jury of Hollywood filmmakers prominent in faith friendly films including actor-producer Kevin Sorbo (“HERCULES,” “GOD’S NOT DEAD”) and writer-producer Brian Bird (“THE CASE FOR CHRIST,” “WHEN CALLS THE HEART”), with others. “IN TUNE” received the following nominations in 168’s non-speed category:

With violin pieces performed live by lead actress Audrey DeLeón, the short film features original music written by Integrity Music artists Dustin Smith and Alisa Turner and Grammy-nominated, Dove Award winning songwriter Michael Farren, who is up for three more Dove Awards this year.
